Private Elections

For groups, organizations, and committees where you need to control exactly who can participate.

Admin Registration Process:
  1. Click "Create Room" and select "Private Vote"
  2. Fill in your details (two names, phone, email, Voting Room Name, password)
  3. Create a voting room
  4. Verify your phone with the 6-digit code sent via SMS
  5. Receive your unique 6-character election code (e.g., A1B2C3)
  6. Receive your Election details to both email and SMS

The election room is now ready! Share the election code with your members.

Two ways to add voters:
  • Manual Entry: Add voters one by one with name and phone number
  • CSV Upload: Bulk upload using a CSV file format

Added voters receive default credentials via SMS to log in and vote.

Voter Login Steps:
  1. Click "Join as Voter" and select "Voter Login"
  2. Enter the election code provided by admin
  3. Enter phone number (must be pre-approved by admin)
  4. Enter password received via SMS
  5. Access the voter dashboard

Private Election Plans (TZS per member):
  • Free Plan: Up to 50 members, 2 positions, 3 days voting, 2 days nomination
  • Basic Plan (TZS 80/member): 51-100 members, 5 positions, 5 days voting, 4 days nomination
  • Standard Plan (TZS 78/member): 101-500 members, 10 positions, 7 days voting, 7 days nomination
  • Premium Plan (TZS 76/member): 501-1,000 members, 20 positions, multi-admin, custom settings
  • Aluminium Plan (TZS 74/member): 1,001-5,000 members, unlimited positions
  • Silver Plan (TZS 72/member): 5,001-10,000 members, unlimited positions
  • Palladium Plan (TZS 70/member): 10,001-50,000 members, 28 days voting
  • Platinum Plan (TZS 68/member): 50,001-100,000 members, 1 month voting
  • Gold Plan (TZS 66/member): 100,001-500,000 members, 2 months voting
  • SUPER Plan (TZS 64/member): 500,001-1,000,000 members, 2 months voting

Subscription Steps:
  1. Go to Subscriptions Page
  2. Choose your desired plan (Private or Public)
  3. Click "Subscribe Now" or "Get Plan"
  4. Review the payment instructions in the modal
  5. Click "Continue" to proceed to checkout
  6. Make payment via M-PESA to Business Number 58903612
  7. Send payment receipt via WhatsApp to +255 678 520 538
  8. Your election room will be activated within 30 minutes

Accepted Payment Methods:
  • M-PESA Pay Bill: Business Number 58903612 (Account: PIGATECH SOFTCOMPANY)
  • USSD Method: Dial *150*00# → Select 4 (Pay by M-PESA) → Select 1 (Pay by phone) → Enter Lipa Number 58903612
  • M-PESA App: Open App → Move Money → Pay by M-PESA → Pay Merchant → Enter 58903612
  • Backup Payment: Contact +255 678 520 538 for bank transfer options

After payment, send your receipt/screenshot via WhatsApp to +255 678 520 538 for verification and activation.

Upgrade Policy:
  • Yes, you can upgrade at any time during your election
  • If you exceed your plan limits (more members or positions), the system will notify you
  • Upgrade cost = difference between current plan and new plan
  • Pay the additional amount via M-PESA and send receipt
  • Features and capacity are unlocked immediately after verification
  • Example: If you paid for 100 members but need 300 members, upgrade to Standard plan by paying TZS 7,800+ minus what you already paid

Refund Policy:
  • Postponement Refund: If election is officially postponed (not canceled), full refund within 3 business days
  • No Refund for Unused Capacity: If your election completes with fewer participants than paid for, no refund will be issued for the unused capacity
  • Cancellation: Once payment is made and election has begun, no refunds for cancellation
  • Refunds are processed via the original payment method within 3-5 business days after approval

Results Features:
  • Live results update in real-time during voting
  • First and second winners shown per position
  • Bar charts showing vote distribution
  • Downloadable reports (PDF, CSV, Excel)
  • Results available for 24 hours after voting ends

General Subscription Questions

When do I pay?

Payment must be completed BEFORE your election begins. Elections will not start until payment is confirmed.

What if I exceed my plan limits?

The system will notify you. You can upgrade by paying the difference to the required plan.

What if my election is postponed?

Full refund within 3 business days if election is officially postponed (not canceled).
